Mars, Diageo and Pampers are some of the big winners at The Drum Awards for Marketing 2022 after proving the effectiveness of their amazing campaigns.

Revealed: the winners of The Drum Awards for Marketing 2022

Taking the top prize, the Grand Prix (along with FMCG and B2C Integrated), was Diageo and PHD UK for ’Looks Like Guinness’. While many of us were longing for that creamy first sip of satisfaction in the pub after lockdown in 2021, Guinness produced a film celebrating the reopening of pubs and bars in the UK.

The Chair’s Award, as well as the Media Planning or Buying and Most Effective Promotion of the Year gongs, went to The North Face and PHD Global for their ’Power Further, Together’ campaign promoting the clothing brand’s new trail running shoe, the Vectiv.

MusicMagpie and its agency Fanclub also won in multiple categories, including Social Purpose and Retail and E-commerce, for the ’Mount Recyclemore’ campaign that featured a giant sculpture of the G7 leaders’ heads made entirely of discarded electronics, highlighting the growing threat of e-waste.

Introduced in 2022, the Brand of the Year award went to Nike after we asked our readers to choose their favorites from The Drum’s World Creative Rankings 2021 list.

Diversity and Inclusion Company of the Year meanwhile was awarded to Purple Goat, the world’s first and only specialist disability influencer marketing agency, while B2B Brand Team of the Year went to Lycored.

The winners were crowned at a ceremony held in front of a live audience at The Drum Labs in London, which was broadcast around the world on Wednesday June 15.

The competition was judged by a powerhouse panel of marketing leaders, including the likes of L’Oreal’s Lex Bradshaw-Zanger, Penguin Random House’s Sanyu Dillon, AB InBev’s Vineet Sharma, Just Eat’s Susan O’Brien and Patagonia’s Jelle Mul.
