Mountain bike master and YouTube star Danny MacAskill is showing off his cycling proficiency in a new spot for Adidas Five Ten, the sports brand’s cycling division.

The ode to the wheelie sees MacAskill team up with some fellow cyclists to perform a variety of stunts in rural and urban locations before making a call out to those at home to #WheeliewithDanny.

Created by Cut Media, the campaign is trying to harness a resurgence in cycling’s popularity and enthuse a new generation of cyclists.

MacAskill said: “Working with Adidas Five Ten, we wanted to make a film that included as many types of riding as possible and let other riders become the star of the film. The wheelie was the best place to start – if you can ride a bike, you can have a good go at doing a wheelie and, from there, the opportunities are endless.”

MacAskill will be on hand to provide personal instruction to the winners of an Adidas competition.
