This has been a particularly challenging time for out-of-home (OOH) advertisers: with successive lockdowns and a rise in working from home, fewer people have been commuting, dining in restaurants or shopping in physical stores.

In spite of that, the best OOH campaigns remain some of the most talked-about, memorable work. And, as cities around the world begin to pulse with pedestrians once more, this remains a prestigious and exciting field, defying the rise of digital advertising by creating effective, innovative work.

The Drum Awards for Out of Home celebrates the best creatives and strategic thinkers, whose efforts have struck a chord with consumers and achieved real results. This year’s awards also included several new categories, brought in to recognize recent changes in the industry. These include Best Response to Change, Rising Star of the Year, and Best Use of Social Media.
