The campaign features the speech of a winner of the Telstra Business Women Awards who not only thanks her father but also everyone else who encouraged her to be anything she wants to be.

The film is created by The Monkeys and directed by Kyra Bartley at Finch. It will run across TV, in-cinema and online along with supporting press and out-of-home advertising.

Principal of media, sponsorship and awards at Telstra, Genelle Sharples, said: “Every step towards equality, no matter how big or small, adds up. To mark 25 years of the awards, we wanted to recognise those who are helping to bring equality closer.”

The Monkeys creative director, Stuart Alexander, added: “Over the 25 years the awards have been running, some amazing women have changed the way we do business. It felt right to thank them for the brilliant work they’ve done.”
