Coghill will step up from her role as general manager creative, content and campaigns to replace Lisa Ronson, who left the organisation in March to join Coles.

Coghill was part of the team responsible for Tourism Australia’s creative marketing including last year's Dundee Super Bowl campaign. She was also part of the team which recently appointed M&C Saatchi to the organisation’s agency roster.

Coghill has been at Tourism Australia for two years, prior to this she worked for News Corp, Qantas and Westpac as well as working agency side for The Campaign Palace, Whybin TBWA, Publicis Mojo, M&C Saatchi and BBH and FCB in Singapore.

Coghill said “This is an extremely exciting phase in our marketing journey at Tourism Australia. I think Dundee shows what can be achieved when you think big and are brave. It’s certainly that same bold ambition I’ll be encouraging as new CMO.”

Her appointment comes as Tourism Australia managing director John O’Sullivan announced he was leaving the tourism body next month to become CEO and executive director of Experience Co.
