Complexity and fragmentation make it harder to survive as an independent in South East Asia but the scene is thriving. The Drum’s selected some of the top agencies from the region to profile in the coming weeks, celebrating independence.

Carbon Interactive is an award-winning digital consultancy agency, that was launched in 2004.

The agency describes itself as a think-tank that creates campaigns for clients, as well as being the official partner of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore to provide digital training, labs, and workshops for the industry.

According to Jeffrey Lim, general manager of Carbon Interactive, the business comprises of “experienced consultants, strategists, creatives, technologists, marketers, and storytellers with the passion to provide deep insights, creative ideas that will drive impactful campaigns and initiatives.”

2018 was a strong year for awards for the group, with it celebrating Social Media Agency of the Year (Bronze), Mobile Marketing Agency of the Year (Finalist), Content Marketing Agency of the Year (Finalist) and Brand Consultancy Agency of the Year (Finalist) at a range of awards shows in the region.

Accounts won in 2018 included The Shilla Duty-Free Singapore, Funan SG (CapitaMall), SONOS, Selleys, Dream Cruises (Genting Group), One Faber Group, PaperOne (APRIL Group), RISIS, Beko, Ministry of Social and Family Development and Millenia Walk (Pontiac Land).
