'Eat your veggies and you'll grow taller'. Every child has been told this but Léa, the star of French supermarket Intermarché's latest ad, takes the advice quite literally in her mission to obtain a very high stash of hidden cookies.

The brand has come up with a cute, and well-cast, spot to promote its loyalty card which rewards customers with discounts for their purchases of fruit and veg, dubbed 'Fidélité'.

After great difficulty reaching some treats her parents have stored in the upper-most corners of the kitchen cupboard, Léa spots the tallest boy in school dining out on soup in the cafeteria and realises what she must do.

Following a visit to the supermarket to pick up a multitude of veggies, the little girl eats soup for every meal, forcing the rest of the family to indulge and tracking her height progress on a wall chart.

She does grow taller, but much to her Dad's amusement still can't quite reach the goods that she "loves too much".

The sweet spot is soundtracked by Eddy Mitchell and Les Chaussettes Noires' Je T’aime Trop (which literally translates as 'I love you too much').

The ad was created by the retailer's longstanding agency, Romance and follows a similar thread to other campaigns designed to promote the store's healthy stock.
