Business on the Move: TenPin, Bayer, Condeco, and more

TenPin, on of the UK's largest bowling brands, has appointed Earnie as its lead agency.

Global wins

Animal health brand Bayer has awarded its Companion Animal global account to a combined Proximity and BBDO pitch. The selection, following a competitive review, will see an integrated team based in Dusseldorf handle brands such as Seresto, Advantix, Advantage and Drontal.

Workspace management company Condeco has appointed Gyro London as its global agency, with the aim of supporting its brand evolution and marketing communications. Gyro won the account after a competitive pitch, and will create a global launch campaign for a new product due for release in 2019.

Plan International has selected Mr President as its creative agency for a new global girls' rights initiative. The focus for the agency will be to highlight the power and leadership of young girls through challenging oppressive gender norms and smashing stereotypes that hinder them.

EMEA wins

TenPin, on of the UK's largest bowling brands, has appointed Earnie as its lead agency. The creative arm of agency Threepipe, Earnie will provide strategic and creative support to TenPin's campaigns.

Goodfellas Pizza has appointed Grey London as its creative agency. Grey has been directed to produce a new multi-channel campaign to support a full brand relaunch, due next year.

The Food Standards Agency, the watchdog for hygiene and food quality in the UK, has selected MSQ Partners as its lead communications agency. Following a competitive pitch, the agency has been hired for an initial period of two years, with an option to extend the brief further.

French car rental app Virtuo has picked Frank to support its launch into the UK market. The shop has been tasked with developing creative campaigns and driving awareness of the brand.

Travel company Vibe has appointed Brighter Group, a Finn Partners company, has its PR agency in the UK. The firm provides tech solutions to travel providers across the industry and around the world.

Launches

J Walter Thompson has launched specialist food and beverage consultancy Canteen, in a bid to meet client demand for improved consultancy services. The business will be headed up by Megan van Someren, a global planning director for the agency.

Social video company Brave Bison has launched two new video channels. Sustainability-focused Mutha and work-focused Perk aim to compete with Vice and Lad Bible by distributing brand content for YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
