Wunderman New York has appointed Helder Santo as the president of its flagship office. Santo arrives from R/GA where he most recently served as vice president, group managing director.

Responsible for the WPP agency's overall strategic vision, direction and growth, he will report to Seth Solomons, chief executive officer of Wunderman North America beginning on June 18th.

I'm thrilled to have a role in shaping Wunderman New York's ambitions for the future."

A 15-year industry veteran, Santo, who replaces departed president Jamie Gallo, has worked with many major brands including, during his time at R/GA, Samsung, Equinox, Johnson & Johnson, Mercedes-Benz and Shopify.

Before R/GA, Santo was in leadership positions with Digitas and Mcgarrybowen, overseeing strategic marketing and more for the likes of American Express, JPMorgan Chase and others.
