Education sector gets creative with animated videos
Manchester based design and animation agency, Flow Creative, has produced a set of animated videos for distance learning provider, Open Study College (OSC), to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
A contemporary and slick piece of video was animated by Flow’s motion design team to bring the concept to life. The college’s bold colour palette was incorporated into the artwork, and helped to brand the work harder, while also adding a sense of fun and positivity to the animation.
The lead film has been shared on OSC’s YouTube channel and website, while six shorter cut-down versions were posted on the college’s social media platforms to help attract new students.
Steven Nash, director of marketing and e-commerce, at Open Study College commented on the how quickly and effectively Flow got their head around what the Open Study College's brand and values are. "They skillfully crafted an animation that fit our brand perfectly, communicated our message in an engaging way and exceeded the high expectations that we already had."
Karl Doran, creative director at Flow, said: “Using Open Study College’s existing bold branding as a starting point, we developed a strong colour palette and contemporary illustrative style. The client was keen that the work had a celebratory tone and felt positive and upbeat, and they were really happy with the outcome – especially the increase in enquiries and applications they received.”
