Abercrombie & Kent launches website to target luxury travel market

A&K provides travel experiences on all seven continents, including Antartica.

Luxury travel provider Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) have partnered with Sequence to design, build and launch a new website.

With the introduction of a Sitecore CMS, Sequence has built a website that provides A&K with the tools to immediately harness the power of online enquiries. The focus of the first phase is to build on the established reputation of A&K, utilising their library of inspiring images and web-specific content. The new site will immerse users within the multitude of destinations and itineraries through the use of interactive maps.

Managing Director at Abercrombie & Kent, Kerry Golds comments: ‘’We are delighted to have worked in partnership with Sequence and Sitecore to create two new digital platforms that put A&K at the forefront of the luxury travel market. Our new platforms will allow us to build more flexible, dynamic and customer-centric solutions aimed at improving the customer experience throughout their A&K journey. What you see today is just the start of an exciting journey - we have many more initiatives planned."

"Our goal is to inspire people to travel – expanding horizons, learning about different cultures, customs, people and places. The new design enables us to put a spotlight on the incredible content that A&K has built up over 55 years, sourced from clients and our 54 ground offices all around the world.”

Sequence’s chief executive, Richard Baker, said: “Conveying the luxury of A&K holidays via an online experience was challenging. A&K’s reputation was at the forefront of our minds as our aim was to inspire the user throughout their online journey, using impactful imagery and subtle interactions. The launch of the new website is the first step in this exciting partnership.”

Founded in 1962, A&K now provides travel experiences in more than 100 countries on all seven continents.
