Bentley Motors has chosen Keko London to handle all brand and product strategy, as well as global campaign creation. Keko won the account following a formal review process involving three other agencies.

Keko will also look after regional and retail implementation for the UK, Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific regions. The agency also takes over the strategic briefs on Aftersales and Pre-Owned work for global markets.

The Times of India has appointed J Walter Thompson India as its creative agency. The business was awarded after a highly contested multi-agency pitch. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Delhi office.

The agency will handle all mainline advertising and services including the digital mandate by being its strategic and creative partner.

Carlsberg Hong Kong has selected WE Communications as its communications partner to promote a number of brands in its Hong Kong beer and beverage portfolio including Erdinger, Kronenbourg 1664, and the newly launched HK Yau.

Home appliance manufacturer Electrolux has appointed global agency Anomaly after a three-way competitive pitch run by The Burnett Collective.

Anomaly is tasked with evolving brand and marketing strategy, digital transformation and developing consumer experiences. The agency’s remit will span small domestic appliances and home care globally, as well as activity for Electrolux’s major domestic appliances across EMEA, as the brand looks to move to a European-specific marketing model locally.

Ford has chosen Touch associates for the media launch of the All-New Ford Fiesta in Spain.

The event will be hosting over 600 media and VIP guests from more than 20 markets, over four weeks; making it Ford’s largest media launch event in 2017.

The Electoral Commission has appointed MSQ Partners to handle its creative and media planning account after a competitive four-way pitch.

Stack and The Gate, MSQ Partners’ two leading communications agencies, will work in partnership to deliver on and offline advertising and social campaigns. The Gate London will provide the media planning strategy, working in tandem with Carat, the Electoral Commission’s media buying agency as part of the government’s contract.

Reviews

Debenhams is reviewing its marcomms agency following the introduction of its new Debenhams Redesigned strategy.

The retailer is working with AAR to shortlist relevant agencies to support the brand as it seeks to widen the scope of its current marcomms brief. J Walter Thompson currently holds the ad account. The review does not affect Carat, Debenhams’ media planning and buying agency.

This week saw the launch of Live & Wired, which claims to be the UK’s first dedicated live social content agency. Live & Wired is founded by live TV producers Sophie Kostrowski and Sian Hainsworth, and delivers creative, production and talent for brands. Clients include Alternative Press and Primark.
