Viddsee partner A + E Networks to showcase local films

Lifetime Asia, female-focused entertainment brand, will be expanding its Lifetime Original Movies offering with Viddsee’s curation of stories that celebrate the experiences of the modern day women, made by award-winning up and coming film directors in Asia.

"We are proud to partner with Viddsee, who supports our mission to lead entertainment through female-centric storytelling. We share a unified vision to showcase Asia’s up-and-coming filmmakers through their stories by making them accessible through our network and is part of our content strategy to deliver the best of original movie content - internationally and locally.” said Prem Kamath, Deputy Managing Director, A+E Networks Asia.

This is the first time Viddsee’s content is aired outside of its online platform, with it’s first original short ‘Time’ premiering on Lifetime Asia. ‘Time’ is directed by Singaporean, Daniel Yam and commissioned as part of Viddsee’s partnership with the Singapore Film Commission, a division of Singapore’s Info-Communications Media Development Authority.

“We are excited to work with A+E Networks Asia, a global media company that shares our passion for high-quality entertainment and stories. We have curated a collection of compelling local stories and talented voices that we’re honoured to share with a regional and global audience. We hope to develop more opportunities for our community of content creators, as we have done with ‘Time’.” said Viddsee co-founder, Derek Tan.
