IHeartMedia names Rahul Sabnis as first executive creative director

iHeartMedia hires first executive creative director

IHeartMedia has named its first ever executive creative director in Rahul Sabnis. The newly created position will have Sabnis guide the development of breakthrough content that delivers value for advertisers and brands, and will help iHeartMedia and its clients prove what’s possible across all of the iHeartMedia platforms: broadcast radio, digital, mobile, video, social and events.

Sabnis is charged with articulating a unique and compelling creative vision for how iHeartMedia can develop content for brands across all its assets.

The company has made several moves recently, including adding SmartAudio digital data to its programmatic offerings and launching interactive on-demand radio services.

Rahul joins iHeartMedia from MullenLowe Profero, where he was the executive creative director and head of creative. He has also spent time as group creative director at 360i and in several C-level positions at Havas Worldwide, including integrated executive creative director.

Rahul starts in his new position on April 10 and will report to Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio.
