There was plenty of great and empowering signage at the Women’s March in Washington DC and other cities on Saturday, and Brooklyn-based agency Work & Co displayed some thought-provoking original artwork at the DC march, including signs and hat pins for those omnipresent pink hats.

The agency sponsored two buses for staff and their families to attend. In total, 57 people traveled on the buses from Brooklyn to Washington DC to join the millions who marched.

"We started planning several weeks ago, and it focused not just on hammering out the logistics of bringing a large group but also thinking carefully about the themes we wanted to represent," said Rachel Bogan, partner, product management at Work & Co. “It was important to us to design a fun, safe day but also one that is wholly positive – outwardly pro-women, pro-immigration and pro-human rights. Change doesn’t come from standing in place.”

The designer for all of the work was Aleks Gryczon.
