Gillette's 'Go Ask Dad' campaign has been named as our Ad of the Day by readers of our special Father's Day Creative Works round-up.
Based on research that indicated that 94 per cent of teens would rather turn to the internet than ask their dad for advice, the personal care brand wanted to show a set of teenage boys that actually dads often know best when it comes to their own sons.
To prove this, Gillette brought real-life father and son duos together, and tasked the dads with teaching their teens how to master the morning shave. In asking them to share a classic moment together the ad turned the spotlight back on dads with heartwarming results.
