The Trade Desk, AudienceScience and Tune have partnered with The Drum as its commercial partners for its programme of video coverage of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016.

The three companies have become The Drum’s official Cannes Lions video partners, collaborating on creating engaging video content for both those at the festival itself and to bring it to the rest of the industry not in attendance.

Launching on Sunday 19 June, The Drum will be publishing up to six videos of original content each day capturing the excitement, spirit and thought leadership of the world’s biggest festival of creativity.

The video content will form part of The Drum’s overall coverage of Cannes Lions 2016, which will be more comprehensive than ever before.

The Drum, an official Cannes Lions media partner, will be publishing a range of video content throughout the week, from interviews to daily roundups from The Drum team to new programming strands created for Cannes Lions 2016.

Cannes It

Cannes It, which builds on The Drum’s successful take on Room 101, Digital Dungeon, will ask festival attendees to nominate their pet advertising hates – from acronyms to phrases - to have them thrown into one of the waste bins lining La Croisette, symbolically banning them from the pages of The Drum forever.

The Gutter Press: last night’s news today

The nights in Cannes are as important as the previous day, so The Gutter Press: last night’s news today, will feature Cannes Lions attendees recalling and reliving the amazing parties, conversations and awards celebrations of the previous evening.

The Verdict

The Verdict, our third Cannes Lions new video strand, will feature interviews with members of the juries for this year’s 20 award categories discussing the best of 2016’s work.
