UK Top Shazamed ads: Alan Walker's 'Faded' helps BBC Radio 1 top the chart

The Drum's Shazam chart is based on the number of times each ad has been Shazamed over the past week using the music identification app.

BBC Radio 1 has stormed the chart, stealing the top spot with 'Faded' by Alan Walker.

The broadcaster's spot for its youth council, 'Give it Out. Get it back.', positions the trendy channel as a platform for discussion, inspiration and opportunity.

Boohoo's #MoreThanJustAGirl push has secured it second place with 'What If I Go' by electronic hitmaker Mura Masa. while Very's crown has been knocked off seeing it bumped down to number three with 'Light It Up'.

BT, PayPal and Merecedes-Benz also made it into the chart this week.
