Asset management company Schroders has shortlisted a raft of agencies, including BBH ZAG, Brand Union, BrandPie, Landor and Wolff Olins, as part of a pitch to refresh its branding globally.

The company went through a “very rigorous” pitch process that initially began with a list of 25 agencies, including smaller, niche outfits.

“We were very impressed by the level of agencies that we saw,” Natasha Power, head of advertising and brand told The Drum. “The decisions were very hard to make and we had a couple of key focus points that we graded the agencies on that are essential to us and they all ticked the boxes so it was very difficult. The calibre of agencies we were very impressed with.”

A final decision will be made in the coming months.

It is understood that Schroders initially worked with Recommended Agency Register (RAR) to help inform its agency shortlist.
