Donald Trump has rubbished a highly critical front page from a Boston newspaper imagining the future with the mogul running the country.

The GOP front runner has taken aim at the Boston Globe’s satirical front page documenting the dangers of a Donald Trump presidency, branding it “stupid” and “worthless” during a rally in Rochester.

Gawker reports him as saying: “How about that stupid Boston Globe, it’s worthless, sold for a dollar. Did you see that story? The whole front page - they made up a story, they pretended Trump is the president, and they made up the whole front page, it’s a make-believe story, which is really no different from the whole paper.

“I mean, the whole thing is made up. And I think they’re having a big backlash on that one.”

The newspaper claimed it was an “exercise in taking a man at his word” that was initiated by its opinion staff.
