Clinique is the latest advertiser to test Snapchat, incorporating the evanescent app into a nationwide competition for its social media fans to promote its new eye cream brand.
The ‘#ImIn’ challenge, created by agency Stack, encourages people to share their responses to various tasks for the chance to win prizes such as a hot air balloon ride with a friend or a day of husky sledging with a brand. For example, if Clinique were to tweet out ‘Up for a frock swap this weekend? Get involved and share your #imin experience to win prizes’ then fans should share posts of themselves recreating various tasks on either the micro-blogging site or Instagram, with the best posts winning prizes.
Part of this will see Clinique make its Snapchat bow, with one challenge The Drum has seen on the app asking fans to decorate cakes.
