US marketing services provider Harte Hanks has named Shirish Lal as the organisations new executive vice president, chief operating officer & chief technology officer with effect from March.
Reporting directly chief executive officer Karen Puckett Lal will be responsible for spearheading Harte Hanks’ progression toward being an analytics-driven, customer-centric marketing services provider, focussing on product and technology roadmaps and IT amongst other areas.
Puckett said: "Shirish's background in marketing, technology, and high-performing process execution will benefit our clients. He possesses a unique ability to assess markets and industry trends and translate those into opportunities and actions. His perspective as a chief marketing officer gives him a unique understanding of the challenges our customers face in the dynamic marketplace."

Currently chief marketing officer at CenturyLink Lal oversaw the businesses transformation from a $2.6bn rural telecom provider to an $18bn global communications and IT provider.
