James Leigh, creative director at Isobar; Studio Sutherland founder, Jim Sutherland and Rose Design creative partner, Simon Elliott are the latest names to be added to the Roses Creative Awards judging panel.

Big or small, old or new, any UK agency can enter the Roses Creative Awards as long as their office, or their client’s office, is based outside of the M25. Past entrants include Tayburn, BJL, Music, Chapter, Love Creative and Big Communications.

Leigh, Sutherland and Elliott join Leo Burnett’s executive creative director, Beri Cheetham; head of design at Turner Duckworth, Bruce Duckworth; Gavin Torrance, creative director at CHI & Partners; Jason Andrews, Rapp executive creative director; Razorfish executive creative director, Nick Turner and Jon Iredale, Karmarama creative director on this year’s panel.

The new additions come as the deadline for this year’s Roses Creative Awards, which are sponsored by Chesterfield and Become, has been extended to Friday 19 February.

The Roses Creative Awards exist to give regional agencies the glory they deserve and their own voice among the London giants. Of the awards, Duckworth said: “There’s great work done outside London, but there are just less agencies and designers, so it’s great to highlight the talent without getting swamped.”

For more information on the Roses Creative Awards categories, how to enter or how to book tickets visit the Roses website. For those entering this year’s awards check out what not to do as the judges’ share their views on the biggest faux pas entrants can make.
