AnalogFolk London has recruited Dave Bedwood, former creative director at M&C Saatchi and co-founder of Lean Mean Fighting Machine, for the new role of joint creative partner.

Bedwood (see pic left) will run the independent digital agency’s creative department alongside Simon Richings, who has been promoted from executive creative director. The pair will look after AnalogFolk’s clients including Sainsbury’s, Absolut and Malibu, creating interactive, experience-based content.

Bedwood is set to join the company in January, after a six-month break from the industry. He spent ten years as creative partner at Lean Mean Fighting Machine, during which time the agency won Cannes Lions ‘Interactive Agency of Year’ in 2008. The agency was bought by M&C Saatchi in 2014.

Richings said of the hire: “I jumped at the opportunity to bring Dave to AnalogFolk. He’s got an incredible creative record, and I’ve got huge respect for his positivity and consistent professionalism.”

AnalogFolk, which was founded in 2008 by Bill Brock and Matt Dyke, has seen substantial growth this year, opening a second US office in Portland and its first Asian department in Hong Kong.

The agency won Grand Prix at The Drum’s Content Awards in November for engagement platform ‘The Venture’ for Chivas Regal.
