The Marketing on Mobile Awards (MOMAs) have launched for a fourth year, to celebrate the most effective and innovative work carried out in the mobile industry.

Sponsored by O2-owned mobile marketing proposition Weve, the awards are now open to any UK based individual, agency, company or business producing effective mobile strategies and campaigns.

This year has seen the introduction of two new categories, including the Best use of Wearable Tech and the Best use of Mobile Payment. Others including Most Effective Brand on Mobile, Most Effective Programmatic Buying Mobile Campaign and Most Effective Affiliate Mobile Campaign.

The deadline for entries is 26 February 2016 with the nominations to be revealed in April.

Among the judges is Weve managing director Nigel Clarkson who said: “I have been involved in the MOMA awards for several years, and have always been impressed by the breadth of entries they see from app design, data, results, and creativity. To see media owners, media agencies, agencies, creative and design agencies all coming together to celebrate great mobile marketing is exactly what this industry needs.”

Joining Clarkson on the judging panel will be Zac Pinkham, managing director, EMEA, Millenial Media. Commenting on what he is expecting from this years’ entrants, he said: “I can’t wait to see how the industry is evangelising the importance of mobile as part of all brands' digital engagement strategies, and how brands are taking consumer mobile experiences even further from a standalone channel to an insight tool that delivers ROI across marketing.”

The Awards will take place on 18 May at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
