Creative England announce investment with Crowdfunder to fuel funds for creative industry projects
Creative England has announced a Crowdfunder investment initiative with the aim of working with the platform to raise £1m for creative industries projects.

The investment will see Creative England working with the crowdfunding platform to provide match funding.
The £200,000 investment builds on a partnership which began with £100,000 of match fund money to up and coming filmmakers through its iShorts campaign.
Chief executive of Creative England, Caroline Norbury, said “we are very excited to continue our partnership with Crowdfunder to help these creative entrepreneurs get the financial support they need to thrive”.
She added “there is a wealth of talent in our country poised to turn their creative ideas into a commercial success, but who can struggle to find finance through traditional routes.
Crowdfunder’s managing director, Phil Geraghty said: "This investment will further enhance our ability to ensure Crowdfunding is a core part of the future of fund distribution - and give more projects the support they need to turn their ideas into reality."
