TalkTalk has taken a swipe at broadband rivals with a new digital campaign featuring the voice talent of Matt Berry.

The campaign, which will be promoted with digital display, social and video advertising boasts TalkTalk’s position in offering unlimited broadband as standard on all broadband packages in a video created by Stoke and Dagger.

The ad directs viewers to a dedicated broadband usage calculator, created by Art Science, where users can see how much data their household gets through in a typical month.

Tristia Harrison, TalkTalk managing director for consumer, said: “We are proud to be the only provider to offer 100 per cent totally unlimited broadband as standard.

“This clever campaign delivers that message and offers internet users the chance to find out just how much data they actually use. We want to make sure that no one ever falls into the broadband cap trap.”

The push was conceived on the back of TalkTalk research claiming that 86 per cent of capped users don’t keep track their usage, they pay an average of £11.30 extra every month.
