Lenor's interest may lie in the washing of clothes, but they gracefully step aside in this well-crafted German commercial to pay tribute to the clothes themselves. Taking centre stage is the skirt - and it receives a fitting ode.

Through an entertaining montage that manages to keep us our toes, skirts are drawn from all ages, time periods, and mediums. Praise is given to both fashion and function as the garment evolves over time, yet never loses its most attractive attributes.

A minute and a half is a long time to wait for the brand to make an appearance - perhaps too long for some. Regardless it's a commendable effort to craft a meaningful story where Lenor plays a understated part in providing comfort for skirt wearers of all kinds. Yes, even Scotsmen.
