Sailor Jerry, Havaianas & Columbia Threadneedle Investmests wins prompt senior digital hires at FCB Inferno

Sailor Jerry rum, flip-flop brand Havaianas EMEA and Columbia Threadneedle Investments have each appointed FCB Inferno to handle their marketing needs.

Havaianas appointed the agency as its lead social agency and will see it deliver social content and editorial for its own European blog across all major platforms.

The William Grant & Son rum brand, Sailor Jerry has meanwhile tasked the agency with delivering an on-going strategy for the global online presence the brand has already compiled.

Meanwhile, Columbia Threadneedle Investments has made FCB Inferno its digital and integrated marketing services agency across EMEA.

With a spate of new business has come some senior digital hirings for the agency with Paul Blundell appointed director of interaction & innovation, joining from BMB. He will head up a team of 30 interactive specialists which cover technology, design, social, SEO and PPC, and UX capabilities.

Also joining are former technical director at Isobar, Adrien Friend, who has been appointed as head of technology, senior designer from AMV BBDO Gilles Bestley who will be head of interactive design, Lee Whitelock as head of user experience and Jonathan Acton as head of interactive delivery.
