Cancer Research UK is set to produce a new brand campaign having named Anomaly as its lead creative agency.

The charity has tasked Anomaly with producing a long-standing creative concept which will roll out from December.

Anthony Newman, brand, marketing and communications director at Cancer Research UK, explained “We have developed a new and exciting integrated comms strategy and I wanted new and exciting work to deliver against it. Anomaly hit all the right buttons and then some. We have set our ambitions very high, but I am confident this completely fresh approach will deliver.”

Camilla Harrison, partner and chief executive of Anomaly admitted that the agency was feeling the pressure to deliver following the appointment

"It's a massive privilege and a huge responsibility to work with Cancer Research UK. I simply can't think of a brief, which more demands brilliant work that overperforms," she said of the ambition for the campaign which will aim to increase survival rates,

Anomaly was also appointed at lead creative agency for TheTrainline.com in June.
