Unabashed adultery website Ashley Madison pursues London IPO

A controversial dating website specialising in hooking up married people behind their partner’s backs is reportedly seeking to fund a $200m expansion with an initial public offering in London later this year.

According to Bloomberg the Canadian owned Ashley Madison site is casting its net across the Atlantic after efforts to launch an IPO in Canada failed to get off the ground, prompting it to look to Europe where such a premise may carry less of a taboo.

Ashley Madison is owned by Toronto-based Avid Life Media and promotes itself as a portal for spouses seeking extramarital affairs.
