Adam Hancox has joined Starcom MediaVest (SMG) as programmatic associate director, a move that will see him play a pivotal role in the group’s newly-established Precision Marketing offering.
Formerly programmatic manager at Havas, Hancox will drive the digital and programmatic capabilities across the agency’s client portfolio.
He reports to Chris Camacho, managing partner, Precision Marketing, who said: “Adam is a vastly experienced programmatic expert and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in accelerating the programmatic conversation within the wider planning mix. As Adam’s track record shows his leadership will be vital in driving digital and programmatic growth for our clients.”
Hancox said programmatic presents a “huge” opportunity for SMG in light of VivaKi’s restructure earlier this year.
The move has seen VivaKi ad traders redistributed to the other Publicis media agencies, which include SMG, Walker Media and ZenithOptimedia.
