MacLaren McCann Canada names new chief
MacLaren McCann Canada, of McCann Worldgroup, has named David Leonard, formerly of DDB Canada, as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
While at DDB, Leonard worked as the president and chief operations officer.
“David is a talented leader with a deep understanding of the industry and the Canadian marketplace,” said Luca Lindner, president of McCann Worldgroup. “He is ideally suited to lead our Canadian operations and we look forward to his leadership in driving our clients’ businesses forward.”
Throughout his 25-year-career, Leonard has worked with many major brands including Pepsi, McDonald’s, Labatt and Telus.
Leonard is succeeding Doug Turney, who will be pursuing opportunities both in the industry and and the education sphere.
