TfL appoints Ten Alps to lead £3.5m digital road safety campaign
Transport for London has appointed multimedia content business Ten Alps Communicate to lead a £3.5m digital road safety campaign for pre-school children following a competitive tender.
Children’s Traffic Club London aims to curb road casualties in the capital by influencing attitudes and effecting behavioural changes following its launch in September.
The three year contract, possibly to be extended for a further three, will entail the creation and management of a road safety education programme together with a digital awareness raising initiative in the form of an interactive website and apps.
Mark Wood, CEO at Ten Alps Plc, commented: “Winning the TfL contract is a significant step in the creation of a much larger content marketing and communications business at Ten Alps. Our success is a reflection of the superb story-telling and digital design skills in our Ten Alps Communicate business unit.
“We’re now focussed on building out our television operations and developing Ten Alps Communicate into a broader content marketing and corporate communications business, while also accelerating out CSR opportunities.”
