How Twitter paid tribute the Discworld author and Alzheimers campaigner Terry Pratchett
Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away in the comfort of his own home at the age of 66.
The writer, who had penned over 70 novels, suffered from early on-set Alzheimer’s and was a renowned campaigner who challenged the public's perception of the illness.
Shortly after his death both 'Terry Pratchett' and 'Discworld' trended in the UK, signifying the writer's immense popularity.
Brands and notable figures, inspired by Pratchett’s musings and works, took to Twitter pay their respects.
