Lori Senecal has been named global chief executive (CEO) of Crispin Porter + Bogusky (CP+B), a newly created role where she will oversee global growth and expansion while managing the firm’s eight international offices.

She will retain her position as CEO of the MDC Partners network, of which CP+B is a member.

“It’s an honor to be asked by Chuck Porter to work alongside him and the CP+B leadership team,” she said. “I look forward to playing a significant role in the global growth of the agency, by working with the exceptional talent across offices.”

Previously, she served as the global head of kbs+, another member of the MDC family. She helped transform kbs+ from a 250-person domestic agency to a worldwide firm employing nearly 1,000 people with business units focused on technology, start-up investment and content creation.

Before joining kbs+, she was president of McCann-Erickson Worldwide’s New York office.

Chuck Porter, chairman of CP+B, said: “Lori understands and loves this agency. She shares our values and passion, and she brings an extraordinary level of management experience and expertise. Everything I’m not good at, she is.”

Over the course of her career, she has led accounts including Coca-Cola, Nestle, and BMW.

CP+B counts Kraft, Domino’s Pizza, MetLife, Applebee’s, and Fruit of the Loom, among its client roster.
