Brintons awards media planning and buying account to MediaCom Birmingham

Carpet designer and manufacturer Brintons has announced that MediaCom Birmingham will serve as its retained media planning and buying agency with immediate effect.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch process and sees MediaCom’s West Midlands team assume responsibility for devising and delivering an optimised media strategy focusing on the brand’s key target audience, as well as seeking new opportunities to widen Brintons customer base.

Andrew Wilcock, group marketing manager of Brintons, credited the win to MediaCom’s “ability to deliver on our core media needs” and its “strategic insight and digital expertise”.

Steve Hadfield at MediaCom Birmingham added: “We’re looking forward to using our knowledge and expertise to help keep the luxury carpet specialists at the top of people’s home interiors wish-list.”

MediaCom will continue to focus on the core home interest magazine and newspaper sector whilst exploring ways to increase web and social media opportunities for the brand.
