Infographic: Starbucks tops Hootsuite's list of most loved brands in December

Starbucks has snagged the top spot of Hootsuite's Love List for brands in December, closely followed by Chanel, Friskies and Urban Outfitters.

The Love List, a piece of research which ranks the world’s top 450 brands according to their perception on social media, uses data provided by uberVU via Hootsuite, a listening and analytics tool which analyses the social media conversation taking place around each brand.

The Christmas period helped Starbucks rise to the top of the list after the brand cultivated a passionate fan base by offering limited-edition and seasonal items, which resulted in spikes of excitement and sharing on social.

Twitter, Disney, Cheetos, Secret, Taco Bell and Chipotle rounded off the rest of the top ten.
