Hill+Knowlton Strategies has snared digital advertising expert Vikki Chowney from TMW Unlimited to lead its newly-formed content and publishing offer.

She joins the WPP-owned agency as director of content and publishing strategies and is tasked with championing the importance of both disciplines in communications plans.

Chowney has over 10 years of experience in the digital marketing industry, spanning both agency and editorial following a stint at Centaur Media’s New Media Age. During her tenure at TMW, she served as its social media chief before moving on to head up Think Unlimited – a joint partnership between Creston agencies TMW and Nelson Bostock.

She is one of the industry’s rising stars having gained several plaudits in recent years including being nominated one of The Drum’s Top 30 women in digital in 2012, appearing in Red Magazine’s 20 under 30 rankings in 2013 and as a finalist in the IPA’s ‘Women of Tomorrow’ competition in the same year.

Richard Miller, CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies, said: “Vikki is an innovative digital strategist with extensive experience creating multi-channel content that tells a brand’s story with impact. I look forward to her joining H+K and know her fresh perspective and approach will be valuable to both H+K and our clients.”
