Independent production firm Wise Buddah - which also created a new ID jingle package for the station, will work with Magic alongside USP Content to propel the brand onto the national stage.

Wise Buddah will produce Christine Bleakley and John Barrowman’s new shows and USP Content will work with Claire Sweeney to bring her love of musical theatre to the airwaves.

Liam Thompson, content director at Magic, said: “It’s fantastic to have Wise Buddah and USP Content on board to help us hit the ground running for 2015.

“The move to work alongside independent production companies in conjunction with the strong in-house Magic team underpins our big ambitions for the national Magic brand and our desire to create new sponsorship opportunities for brand partners.”

As part of the new programming strategy Wise Buddha recut Magic’s 'Magic In The Morning' and 'Mellow Magic' jingles.
