Branston Beans celebrates 10th anniversary with prize-giving packs

Branston Beans celebrates its tenth anniversary with an on-pack promotion designed to drive sales and reward bean-loving consumers.

The ‘Great Days Out’ promotion will feature on 12 million 4-packs of Branston Beans, giving shoppers the chance to win a range of prizes, including £100 towards a ‘Great Day Out’.

In addition, there are runner up prizes of £20 supermarket vouchers and £2.50 money off coupons towards their next purchase of Branston Beans.

Chris Wright, marketing director of Princes who produce Branston Baked Beans, said: “Baked beans are well-loved by UK consumers, with household penetration currently standing at 88.4 per cent. Branston Beans appeals across all ages and has a diverse shopper base, from younger shoppers and young families to loyal older shoppers. We’ve designed our latest promotion to appeal to this wide audience.

“Volume per buyer is up 10.2 per cent year-on-year, while spend is up 24.9 per cent and we believe that the new promotion will help to drive penetration and repeat purchase with a range of relevant prizes.”

The promotional packs will launch in store from January 2015.
