Infographic: Digital and social media habits of a Champions League fan

Snack Media surveyed 2,000 football fans before a big Champions League game to discover what the fans wanted, digitally and socially.

With 46 per cent saying they wanted more match day build up, and 45 per cent wanting more statistics, many said that they used social media to check for stats before the match – leaving an opportunity for brands to get involved.

A quarter of those surveyed said that they would like to see more tweets from fans, while 20 per cent would love to see more Twitter posts from football legends.

It was also found that 27 per cent want more video content from in and around the ground.
