DFS has built on its 2013 Guaranteed Christmas Delivery campaign by bringing back a familiar face to spread some festive joy and show how its people work hard to ensure customers’ sofas are handmade and delivered in time for the big day.

Once again created by Krow Communications the 2014 advert shows people’s reactions as they encounter Nick, the ‘special’ DFS delivery driver.

Mark Mallinder, head of marketing at DFS, explained: “We know that consumers see the sofa as the heart of the home and this is even more true at Christmas when families can come together and spend quality time with each other. Our campaign aims to reassure people that DFS can help make their Christmas more comfortable by guaranteeing that their handmade sofa will be delivered in time for Christmas. The film showcases in a light hearted way that DFS have the best people to make sure you get your sofa delivered in time.”

Creative founder at Krow, Nick Hastings, added: “We wanted to get the information across in a way that reflects the magic and warmth that Christmas brings, and to put a smile on people’s faces. Both krow and DFS are really happy with the way the commercial has turned out.”

The advert is now airing nationwide and will run until the end of November (Sunday 30).
