Marketing Birmingham, a strategic marketing partnership to promote the UK’s second largest city, has commissioned creative agency One Black Bear to design and build a new system to create event-based microsites on demand.
The new system will be used to rapidly create custom websites to support conferences and events being held in Birmingham under the ‘Meet Birmingham’ business tourism banner. The tool calls on existing content and assets from VisitBirmingham.com and BusinessBirmingham.com, third-party API data and Marketing Birmingham’s own internal CRM databases to quickly deliver a valuable support platform for event organisers, delegates and attendees.
Emma Gray, director of marketing services for Marketing Birmingham, said: “One Black Bear offered a strong solution to this project. The new system will help us to further enhance Birmingham’s reputation as a leading conference and events destination.”
