Coral have launched a marketing campaign ahead of the start of the Barclays Premier League by recruiting football impersonator Darren Farley and model Carly Naker to star in a 30-second commercial.

Both man a burger van for the promotion, engaging with a punter before switching to a screen displaying live odds for the next match. This dovetails with online mobile exclusives and a new football jackpot app.

The campaign, which will also run across press, in-store and mobile, will first appear on BT Sport before the Manchester United Vs Swansea match and will feature live odds and special offers.

Jack Chapman, head of over the counter marketing for Coral comments, “If our ante post offer launched last week is any indication to go by, we’re expecting a good start to the football season. From the moment ‘Our Best Price Every Team’ offer went live last week we saw a surge of ante post betting.

“Our goal is to offer the best value to punters in an engaging and creative way. The new ad has comedy appeal but most importantly is a vehicle to promote our hero offers.”
