Gatwick Airport has boosted its bid to be selected as the site of London’s next runway with the launch of a new campaign website, ‘Gatwick Obviously’.

The site acts a focal point for all parties interested in the campaign and provides access to key facts and information about the second runway bid.

Designed, built and launched by Manchester based agency CTI Digital, the site features 3D parallax scrolling, using Drupal 7, and is fully responsive to provide mobile devices with an optimised experience.

Nick Rhind, CEO of CTI Digital said: “We are relishing the challenge of helping to drive Gatwick Airport’s campaign forward. The website is an excellent example of the superb results that can be delivered using Drupal 7, which is visually appealing, engaging and easy for the user to navigate.”

Carlene Peasley, brand and marketing manager, Gatwick Airport, said: “We were very impressed with the way in which CTI handled this project. They fully understood our goals and have produced an impeccable design that we are confident will play an important role in the overall success of our campaign.”

The ‘Gatwick Obviously’ campaign site was recently nominated for the ‘Best Use of Visual Design’ at the Dadi Awards.
