Andrew McGuinness (founder of BMB and Seven Dials) and Scots born MT Rainey (founder of RKCR and chairman of TH_NK) have created a campaign which urges people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to express their views on Scottish independence.

The Let’s Stay Together site, created by TH_NK, invites people who may not have a vote in the referendum, but care about its outcome, to express their belief in the UK.

McGuinness commented: “This is a campaign to let the Scots know that we want them to stay with us. We want people who have a vote to know that people elsewhere in the UK care deeply about Scotland and want us to stay together.”

The campaign for Let’s Stay Together will feature a range or people from all across the UK, including celebrities such as Eddie Izzard and Tanni Grey-Thompson.

The launch film, which uses Queen’s “You’re my best friend” and features a host of celebrities – from Richard Wilson to Ian Rush – was produced by Silverfish films.

Rainey added: “Everyone is getting very emotional about this issue – and not always in a good way. This campaign is the antidote to that and will provide a simple message that allows people who don’t have a vote to express what I know many of them feel.”
