Execs from Dentsu Aegis, Omnicom and Barclays sign up as IPA Media Owner Award judges

The IPA has revealed the judges for its Media Owner Awards (MOAs), with executives from Dentsu Aegis Network, ZenithOptimedia, Maxus and Omnicom Media having joined the judging panel.

Pete Robins, managing partner at Agenda21, has been named the chairman of judges. He said that entries to the awards, sponsored by The Drum, doubled between 2012 and 2013.

Helping him decide finalists from the entries are Paul Davison (head of digital trading, Amplifi, Dentsu Aegis Network), Sannah Rogers (trading director, ZenithOptimedia) and Suzy Ryder (head of digital, Maxus) among others, while Mike Dando (EMEA Media planning manager, Epson Europe) and Nicola Shepherd (head of media, Barclays Retail Bank) have joined the panel to represent the client side.

Together, they will be whittle down finalists from submissions made into eight awards categories including Best Technology, Best Online Campaign, Rising Star and Unsung Hero of the Year before the awards ceremony in November.

Finalists for a further eight categories are to be based on a survey.
