Specsavers has embarked on an eight month sponsorship of the London Evening Standard’s Shop London platform.

Looking to pitch itself as a fashionable brand, Specsavers is launching an online fashion hub for 12 weeks between March and October.

It will also work with the Evening Standard on a supplement to coincide with London Fashion Week later this year.

"Synonymous with the London fashion community, the Evening Standard’s Shop London and upcoming London Fashion Week supplement provide an excellent and integrated platform to engage with style-conscious consumers and build on Specsavers current fashion credentials,” explained Tim Sebire, Specsavers regional marketing manager.

This is the most recent partnership the eyewear brand has embarked on, having inked a two-year deal with Channel 4 in February this year to sponsor its Film on Four package.

The sponsorship was planned and bought by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
