The Drum Network’s highly successful one day Creative Thinking & Presentation Skills training workshop is going on tour and will be taking place in both London and Manchester during May and June.

The one day interactive course, which has now run twice this year, has two strands – firstly it is aimed at anyone working in a creative communications business who wants to learn some new tips and techniques for generating fresh ideas and finding new ways to approach problems for both clients and their own business challenges. Secondly, the training day will offer you some unique insights and examples of how you can present and pitch your ideas, your company and yourself more effectively and with more impact.

The morning training workshop will focus on the creative thinking process and the creation of great ideas and will be hosted by leading creative thinking trainer Gordon Brown, the founder of Brain Juice Training. Gordon has been a professional marketer for 25 years, many of those years spent working on the client side, and now he works with marketing agencies and clients internationally to demonstrate how through his Brain Juice creative thinking system they can generate more high quality ideas and solutions to their client’s business and marketing challenges.

The afternoon session will then focus on how you can communicate and deliver your great ideas to current and potential clients with increased impact and improved clarity. This interactive workshop session will be delivered by trained theatre actress Tessa Morton, who approaches the often daunting prospect of speaking in public and presenting in pitches from that of a theatre performer. Her session will introduce you to and demonstrate many of the techniques that actors use to deliver high impact and memorable performances in order to take their audiences on a journey.

One recent attendee at a course in London said: “I’ve been attending training days for over 25 years and can honestly say this was the most useful I can recall. The informative yet relaxed presentations left me with plenty to think about and to implement and that is rare.”

Another attendee commented: “I thought it was a very relaxed day which challenged any preconceptions I may have had and certainly made me think about how we present our business and the part I play in that process.”

The training day takes place in London on Thursday 22nd May and Manchester on Monday 6th June, both from 9am until 5pm. Early Bird tickets for the training days are still available to buy online priced at £295.
